The Old Town Joppa

Testimonies

We took a walk to the old town of Joppa. Signs there said part of the town were over 4,000 years old. It has a very interesting natural port. Some of its history is:

  • Jonah ran to Joppa the jump on a ship to try to escape God instructions to witness to Nineveh,
  • Solomon received Cedars from Lebanon here for the Temple, and
  • Peter raised Tabitha from the dead.
